In regards to 1, even if what you said is true, you said
THEY(meaning Yahoo) can do whatever they want with their email, not hackers. So I don't see why she shouldn't be using it based on that.
And 4, my parents and grandparents aren't exactly technological geniuses but that doesn't mean they are less qualified to be parents or own a business or just are just lesser people.
How does someone hacking her account make her dumb? It happens everyday. Oh and define this soccer mom term you use.
