In a campaign that emphasizes national security, it seems that something like personal email would have fallen into the vetting process. I suppose not. Either way, if she was using her private email to communicate with business/governmental contacts, then yahoo probably was not the greatest idea. Even still, you *could* use yahoo or gmail, you just have to ensure that it runs through an appropriate encryption protocol. See below.
