What model year Mustang do you have? I've heard unless you have an '08+ installing the Ford OEM HIDs is a total bitch.

I believe MRaburn added the '08 GT500 HIDs to an older GT500 and he said it required a lot of different wiring. You can read about it here I think: http://forums.stangnet.com/701326-st...0-project.html

I heard that too. OEM Ford HIDs require their own wiring harness to be spliced into the existing 05-07 harness and that can get messy.

Any aftermarket kit will come with adapters for easy plug and play operation so the choice is between Saleen and Conversion. The Saleens will give you the most legal setup by having the correct reflectors and lens housings that are DOT legal. The conversion won't have that but will be significantly cheaper.

That's the kit I'll be going with but in 35's though because imagine the power drain on 3 pairs of lights

The wiring shouldn't be messy. The harness is a mirror of our harness. The ballast just needs +12VDC from the low beam. The high beam +12V is used for the solenoid.

The problem is that the OEM assembly costs $1000 from Steeda. If you have money to burn, go for the OEM assembly.
