94 escort GT problem

Drove to the next town over to pick up some gifts for friends and the car was fine, get in it to start home and the wipers, windows and blower motor wont work. This wouldn’t be much of a problem but it was raining. Drove about half a mile and every thing kicked back on. Its done this to me before but I had more cash than time at the time and the mech. said that it was a bad harness (I think, long time ago) now i have little of eather and i need to fix this. when i stop and restarted the car none of the things, wipers, blower or windows, worked. Im almost thinking that its a CB but the owners man. dont show a CB that would control all those things. i checked fuses and they are fine.

Sounds like you have a faulty ground or a fouled relay.

ya know, come to think of it, last week every time i would get out of the car id put my left hand on the door sill and touch metal and get a little shock. I just chocked it up to static. i guess i need to start looking for the ground points.
edit: just talked to a mech. buddy of mine, he said that there is a quick disconect on the neg batt. post that is notorious for going bad. Ill go out in a bit and check that.

i will, going to check the grounds sunday, getting married tomarrow and wont have time to mess with it.
Could be the ignition switch too, the key will come out with the car running and there seems to be some play in it.
