How good is the stock block good for hp wise? In the case should I put the 9 pound pullie on or keep the six pound one on? I don't want to push it to far past 450 rwhp. It has a 331, with the X cam, 165cc AFR heads, 6# pullie for powerdyne s/c, what should i be making?

You will probably get alot of different answers as to what the stock block is good for. I have heard of cars making 540 rwhp on the stock block. But, only time will tell how long it will stay together.

I have always heard that about 500 rwhp is the most you want to push and even then it is a time bomb.

You might want to try the 6lb and see where it gets you and go from there.....

And of course have a good safe tune.......
