Subaru people?

I have an 88 GL with a 1.8l in it and here is the problem. I was heading to work and as I toped this hill by my house the car dies and now it will not start. I have fuel and unsure of spark. what are the odds of coil going bad? Anyway it turns over and that is all I can check at this point it was 5:00 in the morning and raining.

Its looking like the timing belt(belts) are broke. That sucks.

Yes, If I recall it does have 2 belts. I know the Justy's have a chain and a belt, but we don't see many of those.

did u pull off the front cover or u can tell by cranking it the cams arent turning? 1.8's are non-interference i believe, so ur probably not looking at too tough a job.
