Do they make a plug in chip?

I was wondering do they make a plug in chip for a 93 GT 5.0...like they have for the GM cars? If so what do they do and how do they work?..Are they worth getting?

I've been wondering the same thing. Seems as they do, but they have to be burnt for you car specifically. I would check with a local tuner to see what he can do for you.

hypertech makes one and i think j.e.t. does as well. they were pretty standard back in the day but now custom tuning for our cars have become common place. those plug in chips simpy firm up shifts, change shift points, increase timing, and what not. they are really not worth the $250 unless you have an AOD. A custom SCT dyno tune around my area is $600. I know SCT does mail order tunes but I have no idea how they work or how much they are, but again a custom tune is not worth it for stock or mild set-ups.

Moates makes some pretty cool stuff. Yes they make a chip for foxes. Im looking into them actually. Ive been doing some honda dyno tuning at my shop and we use moates products. They have some decent tuning programs for EEC also. Im getting ready to do some experimenting with their fox tuning stuff so if anyones interested let me know. Maybe we can work something out.

I bought a Diablo Chipmaster Revolution chip off Ebay brand new for 100 bucks with the flip switch. I'm gonna have mine tuned by a local shop for 120 bucks.

A lot of reputable tuning shops will do mail order chips, too.
