Chilton or Haynes for a 2001 Hyundai?

A friend of mine bought a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe at a police auction. I told him I'd buy him the manual for it for his birthday, so I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion on which one to get for this car. I've always used the Haynes manuals for my own cars, but I've heard some people say they aren't very good for newer cars or imports.

Any opinions?

Personally, I want to tell him to just ask for his $200 back and buy bus passes instead, but I am a little biased here...
