3.8 pricing.

I am getting ready to pull the motor out of my 2000 mustang to make room for the new 347 and goodies. What would the 3.8 out of my car be worth? It had it's regular maintenance. It has 80,000 miles on it. and the new water pump was put on less than 3,000 miles ago. any info would be appreciated.

I have seen engines like that on ebay and other places for a few hundred $. When you get to the engine swap I'd be interested in hearing how it goes. I know it's not just the engine, you also have to get new mounts, computer, 8.8 rear, gears, instrument cluster, suspension, etc. How much do you figure it will cost you overall?

I am going to go carbed with the motor, so hopefully i will skip some wiring issues. I have to switch out the front K member, bellhousing, and put in my 8.8. I plan on keeping the computer in the car and going to try and make the oil pressure and water temp work with the factory guages. I will post as i build the car.
