Quick ? on Mustang II suspension

Is the Mustang II suspension the same as used through the Fox series, or is it only specific to 1974-1978? I may be able to pick up a fox series parts car cheap, but don't know if suspension components are the same as the Mustang II. Thanks

The steering rack is similar, but the rest is different. That's why hotrodders are NOT chopping the front ends out of foxbodies

While we're on the topic of handling, I'm reminded of a thread from a while back regarding Alcino's great handling MII:

http://forums.stangnet.com/610410-congrats-alcino.html

There is some good info there on setting up an MII to handle.

And I was struck with how similar the new 2010 Shelby GT500 looks to Alcino's car.

It's almost as though Ford looked into my day dreams and took what I want to do to a II.

Now if I do anything near what I was thinking I'll hear how I stole it from the '10.

Bastards.

For now I guess we'll say Ford stole from Alcino.
