Post pictures of your boost gauges! and what brand, etc...
Anyone have a gauge that goes 0-15 psi? If im only running 5-8 psi I dont see the point of a gauge that goes any higher than that- I want to see the needle move. I prefer auto meter cause I have a sport comp tach. I was thinking even a 0-10 psi would be cool.
Anyways post up your boost gauge pics. Also opinions on 2 gauge or 3 gauge a-pillars, and what size your gauges are |

Awful picture but it's the only one I have, trying out the DOF of a 50mm 1.4 lens. Little dark when I took the picture but it'll have to do for now.
Gauges are autometer ultra lites that are 2 1/16" in size. I prefer the a-pillar or under the radio for gauges. |

Hmmm so it takes 8 bulbs to do all of the dash and HVAC controls? I see they have the black twist outlets also. My Autometer 5" tach is missing the front illumination light bulb socket. i would imagine it is one of those black twists by looking at pictures of all the others. Do you know if those come in different sizes? Should I be able to just order a new bulb socket twist off that site and it will work? Sorry if I ask a lot of questions but you seem to know what your talking about lol |

I will say if I had to do it over, I would have tried the 5led bulb (4 led’s for indirect illumination and one for straight on). I used to be one of those guys that drove around with the driving lights on and loved to see the dash illuminated. With the led’s that I’m running, it’s tough to notice if they are on or not during the daytime…as they just do not have the brightness of the stockers.
As for your autometer….I couldn’t say. It’s likely something similar (or possibly the same). I would confirm with autometer if you could before purchasing anthing. |

Yeah, my dash glows blue thanks to Millhouse's write up. I did mine last summer. I only did one led as well, and as Millhouse said, i wish i would've gotten the 5 led bulbs. |

What gauges should I get?! I want auto meter sport comps to match my tach. I also want them to go on the A-pillar. But I dont know what to get besides boost. Or if I should just go with a single boost gauge for now. And not sure if I should get 2 1/16 or 2 5/8, another reason why I was hoping more people would share their pictures. I dont think I want more than two gauges on the pillar. Wide band is out of the budget right now... Maybe Il just get a single boost/vac gauge since im only looking to run low boost and the car is mostly stock.... |
