| | | Black FR500 Rims (Post Pics)
Hey everyone. I just bought a 2007 Mustang GT, Its dark blue and came with 18 inch Bullitt rims. I am looking at buying the black with polished rim FR500 rims. I was wondering if anybody had pictures of theirs or someone elses with the fr500s on. I would really like to see them on the blue so I can make sure I like them. I am most likely getting 18x10 deep dish in the back, and 18x9 in the front. What do you think?
Please post pics and thank you for your help! |

Lighter colored cars can get away with it, but definitely not darker colors like blue. If your car is black and you're going for a blackout, I get the idea, but I still don't like it without a polished lip. Again, it just looks dirty. Looks like police cruiser steelies. |

Myself, 20's don't belong on Mustangs. Especially with FR500s... The design gets very distorted when they turn it into a 20, and it doesn't have the same racey look that it has as a 17" or 18". |

No he has not. He sometimes pops into another forum I'm on as well and he hasn't done that either.
I hope nothing is wrong. His car, as well as yours, have been inspiration for many future plans for my car. |

all black looks like steelies. especially with nice shiny silver colored lugs, they should be painted too.

My thoughts as well, autumn. I'm not much for black wheels to be honest. For some reason I took the chance with the black/polished FR500's, and it paid off. |

The all black with red pin stripe looks really hot on the black or alloy cars, but not sure with blue and the others. BTW, Kona is the new '10 color, while sonic was '05 (S197) only and '06-09 is vista. I almost pulled the trigger on a set of either charcoal or anthracite FR500s a few months ago for the new tires, but after seeing various pics of my Cobras, I decided to stick with them. Quote:

| Yeah, I'm around, but spend a lot of time on a local club forum more than anything the past few months.
I USED to have the 295/45-18, but have since stepped it up to a 285/50-18 which is .3" wider and .9" taller My car hasn't shown up on here for several months, but that will change in the next week or so with its grand debut (when the roads stay clean for a few hour period)!!!!! |
