98 s10 question i know it not a mustang need help

i have a 98 s10 p/u know my dome override switch is bad so my head lights stay on during the day i already unplug the sensor in the grill took out a dimmer switch fuse and the other fuse under the hood. now why are my headlights still on did i miss something.

My 97 s10 had daytime running lights. They were on all of the time.

Maybe do a search for "DRL disable" on Yahoo or Google, I've seen lots of write-ups on how to bypass this "feature" on most GM and Ford cars.
