Damn! I want to go, but I work 2-10 today and tomorrow  If you guys are meeting up next Friday I will be on vacation and all over it. I'll be going to the track weather permitting as well.

Many nights I've only got 4-5 runs in between 7:00 and 11:00, and then get 5-6 more in between 11:00 and 11:45 (when they tend to start blocking off the access, even if there are no cars in line) because all the little boys go home.
It's not going to be nearly as much fun if the higher price point brings in half as many runs. |

BUT i did see that general admission is only $8 last year it was $10. so maybe from the shorter hours this year they knocked off a few bucks? peace

john | That's lame, late night is the best time to go to the drags! Let me guess... it's probably the whiny neighbors that we have to thank for that. If you don't like the noise maybe don't live next to a race track? Anyway I live a couple miles away from PIR and I can just barely hear the champ cars sometimes but it doesn't bother me in the least. 
Maybe this year I'll finally bring my heap out and see what she'll do now that I think I can finally make it down the track in one piece...

Nice ya i havent seen you around in a long while. Look at my signature.... :-( she was a pretty one too. I hear ya on the bike though after having mine the stang isnt really fun which i knew would happen if i got something with a good rush. As for hanging out, I agree next year it just might have to be. We need some momentum on this idea but there are enough of us who would enjoy meeting up im sure.

No im not gona sell it, I actually just dumped some more money into it so the money pit continues pretty much. Ive got some more stuff i wanna do to it this winter. I would like to get it finished by the end of next year. 
Justin - No worries ! ! I do have a couple small projects we can do when i get home. I ordered the parts the other night should be in sometime this next week.  |
