goin to the track tonight

So im goin to the drag strip tonight. There is a guy (friend of my dads) with a stock 1988 iroc z that wants to race. All i know about the car is that its a auto, 5.7 litre and has a flowmaster on it. How should this race turn out with my car?

5.7.... ? what was it an LSX swap or something... or is it just stroked/bored or something?

i dont really know a lot about it. it might be a 5.3 lol. i think its called a tpi motor. not a chevy guy sorry

should be a close race. He has a Tuned Port Injection 350ci engine. A drivers race but you should edge him out.

88 IROC? Your gonna KILL him. If not than WTF. Those are SLOW. Just dont blow the tires off or you'll be playing catch up. Good luck

That stinks, but good news is that those irocs were a little on the slow side. Dont get me wrong, they can be fast, but mostly stock they were not quick
