Whats up everybody?? Just joined the site. I have a 2003 Saleen S281 S/C Speedster #261, I bought it a couple of months ago. It only has a couple of minor modifications at the moment, but I plan on getting into some slightly more serious modding like a pulley swap and tune and things along those lines.

And of course here are some pics....

The black Cobra in the pictures was also mine but I just sold it about a week ago to a friend of mine.

Looks awesome! I always felt white was the signature color for a Saleen. Best color to show off the Saleen details.

Great choice! Have fun with it.

So... how does the blown sohc compare to the N/A Cobra?

Sure glad it's warming up -- bet you can't wait to open up that convertible!

Thanks, I agree, White looks great bcuz it shows every detail Saleen put into these cars, but dont get me wrong they look great in any color. The Cobra had good power, more so up top near the 4-7k rpm range and the 410s in there really made that car a lot of fun. With the Saleen the power kicks in right away and the tires go up in smoke instantly. Its loads of fun and great to have the power there at any speed as opposed to the Cobra where the car didnt pull really hard until the higher rpms. When I get some 373s in the Saleen that thing is really gonna move.
