What are the GT500s worth?

I saw an add at Galapin Ford saying new 39K for gt500, I assume it had the minimum options, but still.

I've been looking around recently, and I've found a few for $35k even. Looks like the average is $37 to $40k though.

Out here in southern CA, new ones are going for around $36K, used ones for $30K.

However, there are numerous examples of some 2007 GT500 models going for as little as $28K.

thru the manhiem auction in SO CA one 2007 went thru at 37,000.00 and a 2007 convertible 38,500.
