dash problems,

hey there, i just got a 05 v6 rag top, was hitting it only hitting 6g not red lining it through the gears then i eased off and noticed my speed o and tach were not reading any thing. my radio was on (cd) but no sound. my windows not working, nor my dash lights. the battery light was on and air bag light. engine was running ok, then the it all started working, befor i got home it happened a few more times, the only consistent thing was the battery light staying on. i checked battery has full charge but is very hot, i put a different battery in, and am still having the same problem. i don;t think it is a short or burnt part due to the fact that every once in a while it all works fine, seems whn i rev the engine when all is well the dash stops working. its there a reset to the computer or a recaibration that might fix this, ???please help thanks.
