Issues with Binary Editor?

Anyone having issues with BE causing an illegal operation and needing to close, after installing the latest updates? I seem to have that happening on both my desktop and laptop (Vista), as well as a virtual PC that I created on my desktop with XP. If my hair was more than about 1/4" long, I'd be pulling it out by the handful right now.

what update do you have? I have not gotten one since early January. Its been fine on my vista and xp laptop. My xp laptop sucks big time too.

Whatever updates were available today when I installed it on my laptop. I didn't have it on there yet, prior to today, so I'm not sure what the problem is. It just has the illegal operation and closes immediately after the updates, but if I run it without them, it works as intended.

Wow, do I feel like a dumb ass! I was using an old version of BE that apparently doesn't like Vista. Downloaded BE 2009 and all is well!
