Question CAI

I own a 96 Cobra. Are there any cold-air-intakes/ram-air for my car that offer significant/noticeable gains in hp? In other words, are there any systems worth the $?

I just picked up a 96 Cobra 2 weeks ago. It was all stock other than a K&N drop in filter and a flowmaster cat back. I just picked up a C&L cai and 80mm mass air flow kit. The fit and finish is top notch, and my butt dyno notced a nice gain. The cars throttle response is great. It sounds real nice under the hood. It was worth every cent.

JLT seems to have the best according to everything I've read, heard etc...I have never owned one. My 96 I had always had the stock intake til I went with the blower.

The only ones that will make a differenceon that engine are JLT or Anderson and IDK if Anderson still makes the 96-98 Cobra pipes.
My Cobra had a BBK intake that was terriable on hot days so I put in the stock pipe with a K&N and on hot days the car performed better, cold days there was no change.
Dont do a shiney metal pipe, they absorb way too much heat.
