issues with my motorcycle LED's

So i had LED's installed on my bike. THey did put an inline fuse which is 500 mA... recently, when i replace the fuse... the lights stay turned on until i start riding. Shortly after i ride i notice the fuse blows. It also messes up my right turn signal. doesnt work...

is the amp to small? is there a short in the wire? Any easy way to search for a short?.... what would happen if i hard wired them? The reason i ask is cause i have ALOT of LED's on the thing an dam wondering if its pulling to much current.

I would put a bigger fuse in it. I googled quick and I found that LED's draw about 20mA. Since I am guessing at this, might as well say they draw a max of 30mA. So 500mA fuse at 30mA a piece lets you use about 16 led's. I would put a couple amp fuse in there and call it a day.
