eec ?

Hello does anyone have any info or experience with tunning the eec on a 1989 5.0 .I have a 66 mustang with a 5.0 with a trickflow twisted wedge kit,MSD distributor,Msd 6al box,bbk air intake, and a fresh bottom end.I am haveing trouble with it stalling when comming to a stop and also doesn't want to turnover once the motor is hot.I have been looking at the AEM EMS system and was wondering if anyone has used this tunner?.Also if anyone has any tips to cure some of these issues. Thanks

My suggestion.... get the current combo to work RIGHT before making a major change like that.
I just went through this on something myself.

The car should run well with what you are describing...

If those are the extent of your modifications, the AEM would be a pretty complicated and expensive way to go about tuning it, IMO. If you're using one of the A9* series EEC's, check out the Moates QuarterHorse for about 1/4 the price of the AEM.
