LT1 Camaros and Diablo Tuning

So I've been having a ton of issues with my '94 Camaro as of late; had it trailed off last night back to the shop.

So, the mechanic shows up with a guy that's probably no older than 25, and this guy starts going off about how fast his brother's LT1 was when he had it, and this and that. Then, he mentions his brother had a Diablo custom tune for his car that was worth 150 hp . I raised the BS flag on this one, but he swore this "chip" was worth 150 hp.

On top of that, his brother's "miracle car" would top 150 mph "in no time," and probably go 180 mph. First off, no Camaro 4th Gen Camaro is going to run 180 mph with stock 3.23 or 3.42 gears, and his brother supposedly had 3.73s in his car.

Now, I don't know if this guy's brother told him this, or he was just trying to tell stories, or what, but he just flew Fail-Air Airlines. I'll tell ya...some of the things people say to make conversation...

I mean, why do people lie about dumb, unimportant crap?
