Looks like one hell of a nice ride

Horsepower numbers depends on cam specs and boost pressure
id say over 400 to wheels since it has 8 to 1 compression and can take more boost because of it

not much on the fuel side of things...........I would say 380-400 at crank. But that's a guess.

Call me a dick, but did you build this, or did you get the info out of a catelogue and ask us what it would make?

I agree, lack of fuel might be an issue...

This car is a built car that im going to buy. The Owner built the car from ground up. I notice that you guys talk about the fuel. What can i do to upgrade the fuel, say maybe just bigger injectors (50lb) and say a 255lph in-tank pump instead of the 190. Any suggestions????? This car does exist. Do you think its a good built engine??????????????

I agree with 25thmustang but to answer your question:
I would say add a 255 f/p, Fuel pressure regulator, I am assuming you already have a calibrated maf for the 30lbers? I dont think anymore than the 30's is needed IMO

Is the engine build not good and whats do you guys mean by this statement?

Also you mentioned a Pressure regulator / or do you mean a 255lph intank pump?

Thanks Matt

well in my opinion the engine would be fine with the 30's and the 190 pump. However I would think you may be pushing it with the blower as the demand for fuel goes with boost. I woulkd personally run a 42 or bigger injector as well as a minimum of a 255lph HO pump. I'm running both of these on my 331 with a Paxton 1220SL seeing abouth 7lbs of boost.

I couldn't find the chart but if you search these forums you will be able to see the recommended injector for horsepower levels.

If you bought it I would ditch the FMU too and get a tune from a reputable shop / tuner.

I have a post on the 5.0 Tech articles here now, looking for a tuner tech that is willing to travell to the Bahamas, as this is where the car is. Have any ideas ???? I guess i should go with at least 50lb Injectors and (2) 255lph Pumps or simmilar just to be sure and safe.
Thanks Matt

OK it NEEDS atleast 42's and 255 intank 255 inline. It doesnt NEED a regulator but it would be nice. A tune is also needed throw that fmu in the trash. I would expect nothing less then 450 rwhp, should be more though. Put some front tires on the thing too.

I Ordered some 50lb Injectors and 1 in tank 255lph Pump and a Inline areomotive pump that flows 350lph. I Hope that will do it. I already have a Bigger Fuel Rail and a Pressure Regulator. Im trying to have the Car Tuned as well.

Any more forseen issues guys???

Yea, what Bentley said. Sounds like you're on the right track. 50s and a 255 will be enough fuel to make enough power to split the block. Hopefully you go to a tuner that knows what he is doing. With that low of compression you will be able to crank up the boost and run a ridiculous amount of timing. There's no reason you should leave with less than 450-500rwhp unless you want the block to stay together, but that's no fun, live a little.

Run a google search. Ask about his experience with pushrod cars, smallblock Ford's especially.

Hey Guys, Got the car Tuned at Speedy Dyno, oh yeah that guy Greg hes just Great to work with and i highly recomend him, they are located in Owensboro. Ok remember the run down at the top of the post where i explained the details of the Motor, well let me start by saying be careful when you buy a car thats claimed to be built by a great car builder, especialy if you cant google his name and cant come up with one article.

First it took over a month to get the car finish (Not actual working time / on and off) due to a stupid gear timing set (the ones that dont use a chain but gears instead) never use them, they are GARBAGE i swear, that the builder put in the car. Also the guy (Engine Builder) used Hypereutectic Pistons in the Block instead of Forged Internals (Dumb Azz), so the Boost was only turned up to 7.5 psi to make sure they would survive.

Well heres the Run Down, after changing the Timing gear to chain, Greg moved onto the fuel and spark, Swaped the 30lb injectors to 42's (Ford) and changed the MAF and piping that came from the fire wall to the Throttle body (the builder had all sorts of 90* angles in the one he had there), Greg changed it to a more free flowing sweeping mandrel bent pipe (better air flow). After putting in a Holly Fuel Pump cable of handling 700HP and installing a SCT Tunner with 3 Custom Tunes 1- Valet Tune for car rapist
2-Pump fuel street use and 3-Race Tune Race fuel used.
After the Dyno he pulled 397WHP and 392 Torque, he tried adding more timing but stoped at 19* as when he tried adding 2* more the HP backed down. So He Stoped at that, what do you guys think? I am satisfied considering the Block ratings (even though i would of liked to get a bit closer to the 550 Block HP).

Please Tell me What you Guys Think of my New Car Now.

Let see some pics. Is it a 93? Too bad you have those pistons/block. with that compression, you could make that blower scream!
