HELP- Stereo/Ignition problem

Hey guys,

I have an after market sound system in my 1995 GT. (subwoofer, hi output speakers, capacitor, amps) When the car is in auxillary mode the stereo plays fine and the battery reads fine. When you go to start the car with the stereo on, the ignition wont crank and makes the dead battery "click-click" sound.

If you start the car with the stereo off and keep it off the cars runs great. If you turn on the stereo while the car is already on, the next time you go to start the car you get the dead battery "click-click".

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? It is almost like something is shorting out the ignition. Thanks for any thoughts in advance
