351 eng swap

i have an idea runnning in my head of swaping out my 99 3.8L to a 351. im sure im not the first to think of this, but when i try to get any info (google search) i dont get any usefull info.i realy dont feel like going in to this blind so any info u guys can give would be great a couple of main qustions i have are motor mounts v6 vs v8, trany+ mounts, dryshaft. i plan on carbing and bilding up the eng after i got everything bolted up. i cant get a 92 f150 xlt with a 351 for $200. and i plan on doing everything my self, in my shop so labour+tools is not going to be a problem.

ps. ive done a bit of work to the 3.8 but the eng is just tired and im not going to swap it with anouther v6.

Just thinking off the top of my head here, but you'd have a much easier time going with a 4.6/5.4 swap, than you would a 351, unless you went carbed. Chances are the body harness and dash harness are the same across the board for the 3.8/4.6 cars, so you'd probably just need to source a K member, 4.6 + accessories, EEC, engine harness, fuel line, and pump, to get it running.
