Exclamation Engine Help Needed

I have an '89 lx 2.3L which ran fine up until an squirrel got up in the engine compartment. I tried to start the car and had no luck. When I popped the hood, I found that the squirrrel chewed a few wires. The wires went to the throttle position sensor and the air bypass valve. I spliced the wires back together. The engine will crank but will not fire. I have spark and fuel pressure in the fuel rail. I pulled the plugs and put fuel in the cylinders and it fired right up and ran until the fuel was gone. I can spray starting fluid in the throttle body and it will fire also. Any ideas on why I can't get fuel through the injectors to the cylinders? Help!

1.put a meter on injector
2.check for pulse while cranking
3.if pulse you have clogged fuel rail/bad regulator
4.if im not mistaken ford grounds the injector to fire so check for power to injectors with key on
5.i do beleave some one made up a no start chart for these might want to check archives

have fun
