need some help plz im goin insane!

ok here we go i still have this damn ticking noise its not the exhaust i had that completely ran over at the shop..... the car makes a ticker- shutter sound the faster u go the louder it gets it wont tick if i drive super slow but any thing over half throttle or takin it up to 3000 it starts the noise. sometimes i hear the sound start on the left side then carry over to the driver side even louder also it doesnt tick if im sitting in neutral any ides!

lifter rattle ? > what weight of oil are you using ? if it's too thick oil won't get to the top of the motor > my motor make's a ticking noise some times not something I'm real woried about > is it a spark knock ? have you had it tuned for 93 octain and running 87 ? are you sure it's not a header leak? only other thing I can think of is the possability of a bad or broken roller rocker

Post stated the problem goes away when setting in neutral. If the noise varies in relationship to the speed of the car and perhaps the load on the drive line. Has anyone considered U-joints? Worn diff bearings?

If this is strickly related to the engine RPM, then I agree, think oil system related.

Suggestion. Get an oil filter cutter and inspect the oil filter for metal shavings. If you find any, you will know the answer.
