'03 Window Issues

I've never posted anything like this before. I will probably omit out all of the information someone would need to assist me, but my window is stuck down, and I'm feeling a bit desperate. It looks like I might encounter rain on the way to work tomorrow.

I took my car in for an oil change on Friday. They also replaced the front driver's side turn signal light and the license plate light (in case that is relevant). After I left, I noticed neither of my power windows were working.

I picked up a new circuit breaker. After replacing the circuit breaker, the passenger side window started working. I pulled the new breaker and replaced it with the old one. The passenger side continued to work. The driver's side still doesn't.

I've tried holding down the up button while slamming the door, as suggested in another post. It didn't help. I really don't think it is the motor. I don't have any motor sound when I press the up button. I do hear a click when I press the down button. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Di

Does the drivers side window have Express down? I mean, does it say "Auto" on the window switch and the window goes down by itself if you press the button fully? Did they happen to disconnect your battery temporarily? It sounds as if the auto down feature needs to be reset. Changing out some bulbs would not affect the window motor controls.

It seems to be the motor after all. I hit the outside of the door again a few times this morning and it started working. Which was great. I didn't feel like driving to work in the rain with the window down. Maybe I just needed to be really frustrated to hit it hard enough.
