Tweecer noobie wants you to look at his tune

Well I'm green that's forsure. I have all my software and driver installed. I can write to the tweecer but unable to make the car run properly. I was able to start it and set the fuel pressure to 39 psi zero vacum, and the base timing with the spout out to 10*. I turned the car off (itwas idiling high and a little rich) now it wont start back up.

This file was built by a tuner over the phone. He said he had trouble with my maf transfer becasue of my maf. It's a 80mm proflow off a lightning. Here are my mods

306 with forged pistons, chromoly rings, hardened bearings, edelbrock rolling thunder cam with .520 lift inake and exhaust and 112* lobe seperation for the charger, edelbrock performer 170cc 194 heads that I ported mildly, 1.7 rr's, edelbrock performer upper and lower intake also ported mildly, ported intake elbow, 75mm throttle body, 42 lbs injectors, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, poly motor mounts, canton 7 qrt kick out pan, high volume oil pump with hardened drive, msd pro billit distributor, msd 6al with rev limiter, ford racing wires, Vortech S trim super charger with 3.33 pulley, anderson ford motor sports power pipe, 80mm pro flow maf meter, tfi balancer, vortech t-rex 255 lph in line fuel pump, and bbk 255 lph intank pump. hope that's everything.

not sure how to post it but I can email it

thank you

Will the car run with no chip installed in it at all? If it does that means its in the tune or the tweecer doesn't have a good connection to the J3 port on the eec housing. Pulling the chip out will set the computer to factory settings and it wont hurt it to start it to see if it will idle and stay running. How much boost are you running on the engine?

The car has a T4MO eec, I am using calcon/caledit 1.3. If I manipulate timing and fuel pressure it can run. The car runs very poorly with the tune but it runs.

I sracped the j3 port with a razor I don't believe that is the problem. I think there is some things wrong with the tune. For instance after closly looking at it last night the injector size was too small, same with the the displacement. I know the guy was in a hurry but I guess it just forces me to go through it all.

Thanks for the replys. If you would still like to have a look that would be awsome. I started modifing one of the tunes he gave me. Hope it works out ok.

Oh ya and I'm unsure of boost right now. It doesn't run near good enough to know yet. Some where around 8-10 psi with the 3.3 and the power pipe I would guess.

Thanks again

Oh ok, well if you wanted i could send you one of my tunes for a boosted application and you could try it. But its a Cbaza J4J1 binary and Im not sure if it would work. But you can open it and just compare it to yours. I use BE and EA. The tune i have runs really good actually and its set up for ten psi, you would probably have to tweak a few things but It would definitely be a good starting point. Just let me know, otherwise you can send me yours too and I could take a look at it.

pirotec354, thanks. I have been doing serious reading but I know I need some real help here. It would be nice to see your tune. Maybe after I have a chance to look over it and modify mine I could send you the tune that I am going to use and see what happens. Otherwise I afraid you'll be putting in some serious effort.

My email is W_dagenais@hotmail.com.

Thanks

I sent you the copy so go ahead and look that over and let me know what you think. Obviously its not going to be perfect b/c every car is different, but it should be a solid starting point like i said before. Hope this helps you out a little.

Putting a Vortech on my car soon and was hoping I could have a look at your tune as well! I managed to get the car running fairly well N/A but I am researching what changes I will need for boost.

If you could send it to quik95gt@hotmail.com that would be great!

Thanks,
Ross

He can use the J4J1 on the T4M0 eec....in fact most guys without a J4J1 strategy stock switch over to it anyway.

Thanks for the help though I sure it will work great when I get to that point just been to busy to spend enough time. That and the ect problem
