91 LX notch back - $5000 Temecula, CA

Car has 74,774 original miles and when I bought the car the previous owner said the 5.0 motor was basically stock except for a cam, and the heads are studded and “O” ringed with 1.72 rockers on the intake and 1.62 on the exhaust. The transmission was upgraded with Kevlar bands and shift kit. It has an edelbrock performer RPM intake with a moroso cold air intake, Shorty headers, and cross over pipe and turbo mufflers (just need welded up). Pulleys, 3 core radiator, line lock. Suspension is ladder bars, adjustable lower control arms, adjustable coil spring, 4:10 gears with a locker and heavy duty rear end cover. Subframe connectors and additional welding in all the points to ensure a tight chassis. 2” cowl hood, power windows and doors, windows work but it needs one door lock actuator. Paint looks good but it is about 10 years old, but still shines like new but needs work to be perfect. The interior is in great condition for its age, it is gray with GT seats, pod mounted Sunpro water and voltage gauges, Autometer monster tach is in the dash since I didn’t drive it on the street (I think it looks cool), there are no tears or rips except wear on the piping on the driver’s seat. The map pockets are sagging as all of them do. It has polished weld wheels with VW skinnies on the front with new BFG radial T/A’s P275-60/15.

I was in the process of putting it on the street for weekends at the drive-thru (I was living in Arizona) and then I moved here to California and put it in the garage for the last year and a half. I started the car every weekend and drove it around the neighborhood, but it needs a new home where someone will be able to enjoy the car.
I am not a mechanic and drove the car for 3 seasons and never did anything to it… My friend was a mechanic and track tuned it when I was back in Florida… but now I am out here and do not know a mechanic to tune for me…sooooooo I really need to sell her!
I know I could break the car down and sell it for parts and get more than what I am asking... But the combination works so well at the track for bracket racing… I am looking for $5,000.00 but if you bring me a reasonable cash offer, you may take the car home with you!! Bring a trailer as it only shifts at 5200 and 5400, would not be fun on the street until you make some changes… right now I have over $14,000 in the car and it shows…
Here is a link to some pictures, I live in Temecula, I look forward to showing you your new mustang!!! If interested email at the address below, I did the address that way to avoid spam mail.

Please put “91 LX 4 sale” in the subject!!!
