hello every one just bought my first modular, motor mustang, 1995 3.8 stick( 244,000.kms)
as a winter beater,,
engine seems to have serious issues ,,over reves ,and idles @ 2000. rpm on start, up but has power through out all gears? gauges showing high oil presure,engine temp, there is no signs signs of oil in the rad.. so i dont excpect blown head gasket? ive tried disconnecting differnt vacum lines, doesnt help dertirmine cause and tried lowerening t.b set screw? still doesnt lower idle? it will however come down to maybee 1750.00 rpm if i have the heat on? lol so is it a rad issue , possible water pump, oil pick up ? or injectors or lifters this lil girl gets so hot ...... and i mean in like 3 minutes @ idle i really need help any ideas what should i do as idont even have a haynes manual ? or chiltons book very virgin wut this year of stang please help??????????????

1st you need a new thermostat,
Then take your car to Autozone and have them read the code(s), (They do it for free). Then from Ford Parts department get whatever parts the codes say is wrong.
