What can I use to remove the rear bumper insert stickers?

I bought a 95 mustang gt and it has the rear bumper insert stickers. I'm trying to remove them for a cleaner look, but it is a pain to remove. Is there any product I can use that will not harm the paint to help make the stickers come off easy?

WD40, Goof-Off, or bug & tar remover should all work. They'll all remove your wax on the surrounding area though.

If you have a hard card, you can use that also. Just don't press to hard or you will scratch the clear coat and or paint. Make sure the surface is really slippery and wet when attempting to use a hard card. Try and get one edge and then attempt to peel off the whole letter. Autozone also has a bumper sticker remover spray, but its frakin toxic!

Is WD 40 and Goo Gone safe for the paint?

Goo Gone is. I've used it numerous times to get stickers off. I just give the area a light washing when done.

I used WD40 to clean bubblegum off my paint, probably 10 years ago. Still rocking the original paint today.

I used WD-40 to remove the letters COBRA from my rear bumper worked great with no paint damage.
