Cloth Top Water Repellance

Just a quick question on convertible cloth tops. How much water repelling capabilities should they have? Should they make water bead up?

My '09 doesn't doesn't really make the water bead at all... it seems too new to already have to use a product on though. I have a couple of cans of Raggtopp ready for it if its needed.

Use the Ragtopp and you'll see some beading. No reason to wait. Don't assume that the factory treated it in any way.

You really should apply the Ragg Topp kit for cloth kit annually. You will see beading after you do so.
