thought i read this before but could not find it in search- i know the 94-95 mustang thottle bodies are an upgrade but since i work in a salvage yard and we dont have any i was wondering if a t-body off an 00 explorer with a 5.0 would work?

Doubtful, the only ones that bolt right on with just a couple modifications are those from the '94-95 GT Mustang, and from '89-93 5.0 Thunderbirds.

Throttle bodies from other 5.0's and even 4.6's can be made to work, but often have the TPS or throttle linkage in locations that don't work out very well.

Just look on ebay or post an ad in the classifieds here. I think I found mine for $30.

FYI the larger throttle body will make your gas pedal VERY touchy. It's kind of annoying sometimes.
