why is it that you could loose torque by putting dual exhaust on?

ive heard that u can loose torque by putting dual exhaust on why is that? and is it only certain systems u put on or is it all of them?

Do to the loss of back-pressure when installing true-duals, you will lost a little LOW-END torque with any true-dual system. You don't actually lose power...it just gets shifted higher in the power-band.

I hardly noticed...and it was well worth it.
