Exclamation TRANSMITION MODULATOR PROBLEMS HELP!

I have a 1989 Mustang 2.3 and the transmission modulator is bad i believe.
It will not go to 1st to 2nd until it heats up and i roll on 4-5 rpms for about 5mins...

I bought a new one but i have no idea how to fix it!
I have a book but it does not say how to replace it!
Does anyone here have experience with that?
Maybe some sort of a guide to replace it? PLEASE help i hate driving this way!

The modulator is on the side of the transmission. You have to remove the retaining bolt and pull out the old modulator. There is a pin behind the modulator that you need to keep and reinstall. Don't loose it. Make sure the pin is in place (or still there), push the new modulator on, and replace the retaining bolt.
