Hello all, had a question for the smart people out there. Let me start off by saying I know I should just get a cobra. Ya ya heard it a million times. I have reasons not to. I stumbled upon this listing on ebay. That looks like a pretty complete setup. My 99 v6 already has an 8.8 rear end, so my question is what is missing from that listing that I would need to buy? Check it out and let me know. I really would like as complete a list as possible of all the little things that we forget about when we get these crazy ideas.

$10.5k for a used engine? I remember seeing a 03/04 Cobra motor with tranny new in the crate in one of the Mustang parts catalogs for $6k a year or two ago. I would research more sources before jumping on this.

The V8 swap writeups will be able to explain the swap in greater detail, but at first glance you'd still be looking at cooling, mounts, and gauges on top of that setup.
