A sad day...procharger issue number 2

well if you have seen my posts you should know i have a '10 gt with a 10lb procharger kit. well i though i had it all figured out and have been driving it everyday, well a new shop opened and had a dyno day for 50 bucks 3 pulls. cool right go with your friends and wow them with 440 or more.. lets just say it felt like someone kicked me square in the nads. shes low and jacked up i hit 386hp 362tq on a dyno jet.... we looked at the a/f and i almost cried now cars can run a little rich but this thing is dumping fuel at anything under 2500 rpm i hit the 10 on the graph...then at 3grand it levels out pulls ok till about 4 where it returns to flooding the damn thing.

i am beyond aggravated with this kit and its tunning it will be ok one day and then jacked up the next im tempted to take it off and sell it. im trying one more time with my OWN data logger, my OWN wideband, and im calling the shots on the tune and where the adjustments are going im done messing around... if i fix it saturday i will post the dyno chart in comparision to the one i got sunday.. now im not bad mouthing ANY tune shops i have gone to im just saying that the 2010's are very picky and do not like the 09 adjustments so be warned when you start doing custom boosted apps.

exwife i answered your email hope you got it in time. sorry its been a depressing time for me lmao

Damn, I was skeert by the post title, that the bottom end left you! You have your own wideband now? I have one too, I have not started my install yet, but I did get the wideband bung welded into my driver's side collector. I got an SOS pillar pod with Autometer C2 series Wideband, Fuel Pressure and Boost guages. I got an SCT tune through Lethal, I should be able to tell right off of the batt if it's any good. I hope you get your's sorted out soon, it's better to be rich than lean, I guess anyways!

Did you buy the programmer with the SC as a package? From what I have seen the Procharger was suppose to come with a Diablo tuner with a pre-loaded tune.

I thought it was alittle weird that you were moving the Mass Air Sensor when there have been others that got the kit to work as it was.

Glad it is not worst. With moving the sensor you can't even get a tune from Procharger. I'd be looking for a better tuner.

Good luck with it and definitely want to see the outcome.

Tranny has a slight issue already so I'm going easy on it while I figure it out. On downshifts with the clutch in it catches the gears slightly I'm hoping for a shifter malfunction buy from my past experiance it will be a syncro and cost a fortune

My 05 had a syncro issue going into first. However I'd only had the car for a few months and it was repaired under warranty. The bill for the repair was in the range of 3.5k though

3.5k? Good lord that is a ton. You can buy a brand new Tremec TKO 500 for 2k and a TKO 600 for 2.2k both of which could handle 500rwhp. I had a TKO 500 with my 347 and would absolutely beat the crap out of it and never once had a problem. I just found a conversion kit to put a Tremec T6060 from the gt500s into the GTs. The complete swap is 4k... http://www.mustangsunlimited.com/ite...sp?T1=TTUK1+01

Well, I'm not sure if this would drive up the cost or not, but the mechanics had to rebuild the tranny 3 times before they could get things working properly and it took 11 days. Although I can say they did a great job once they finally got it right, never had a problem again and trust me I beat the crap out of it. I'm interested in the swap kit later down the road....after I go FI, I'd rather put a beefier tranny in than break something at the track.

If they were gonna' charge me $3,500 for a rebuild, then I'd get the Tremec 6060 from Stage 3 Motorsports....the complete kit including custom driveshaft, cross member, and shfter is $4250. The only thing that it doesn't include is a 26 spline clutch, and if I'm dropping the tranny, I'd be replacing the clutch anyway.

Hey dood, I dynoed today at 465 and about 440 torque. Theres more left on the table, I have to go back next week for a ground up tune. Your right, the 10 torque table are completly different! If mine turns out allright, my tuner is only about 8 hours from you!
