Security System

I have this aftermarket anti-theft system that the previous owner put in before me... I hate it and want it out.

I have no clue what it even is, so I was hoping maybe someone could help me identify it? Maybe it has some re-sale value?

All it does is make you turn the key half way, wait for a beep, than all the way (without starting the engine) and wait for another series of beeps, than you put your foot all the way on the clutch and start up the car.

It is annoying and I was hoping there is some re sale value.... Anyone know what this is all about?

Thanks.

Wow that does not sound fun. I just got my car used as well with an aftermarket alarm too, but thankfully, not as much a PIA as yours. I would call around to some of the alarm installers in your area and ask or talk with the previous owner if possible.

I just had to buy a new clicker which I hope can be programed cause I only got one key and clicker with the car. If my clicker dies I have no way of disarming the alarm! That would suck!!

I would get rid of it. I personally think it would lower the value.
There are security systems that are not that much of a pain.

To avoid making a new thread, would 2003 style cobra rims fit on the 2005+ mustangs?

I wanted to get 17x10.5 on the back and 17x9 on the front... From what i read, they will fit with spacers? Maybe someone could help me out here? Much appreciated!
