Stupid, but quick question.

For whatever reason, the fogs weren't on my car when I purchased it. May have been from when some old lady backed into it and they resprayed the bumper a year or so ago. They were included w/ brackets and no bulbs, but not bolted up. I took them apart and cleaned them, and tried something new. The silver reflective material behind the bulb was worn off on one of the fogs because it apparently had a water leak problem. I painted it with a silver reflective spraypaint because at that point the reflector was nearly black. It popped in my head as the paint was drying that the paint may not like the heat from the bulb - let's hope it doesn't mind lol. Since I've had not great luck with silicones, I tried an adhesive glue that I've used and liked for a while called Welder (you've probably heard of it, it's in a red tube). We'll see if that seals any better.

I'm going to throw few layers of VHT niteshades on my fogs to hopefully smoke em out a bit to match my future headlights.

What size bolts am I to use to mount these brackets up? They're just metal clips in the bumper so I would imagine thread type isn't 100% important, but I don't want them vibrating on me while I'm going down the road.

The way I read ya, you're going to mount the lights to the bumper cover.

The factory fogs bolt to metal behind the fog light bucket. I'd do this instead of mounting it to the bumper cover.

+1 to hissin50. While you drive your bumper is going to jiggle due to road conditions. Not only will it look tacky, but if you scrape the front end going up a driveway or speed bumps, they will come out of alignment. Hit up a junkyard, you will probably spend max of $20 for the brackets.

No. Mounting stock fog light bracket to stock fog light location - need bolt sizes. Sorry if I was unclear.

EDIT - The metal clips are inside of the bumper reinforcement bar behind the plastic bumper.

If not I think I'm just going to find a few bolts from the pile of body part bolts and use my air ratchet to mount them up. Not like I'm ever going to take them out again, and if I did, if I did damage anything, I would only have to replace that metal clip.

Your best bet would be to take the clip outta the bumper re-inforcement and take it someplace that sells bolts and match some up. I took mine to Lowe's and found em there...just don't remember the size though.

Was kind of avoiding that seeing how corroded/rusted to the bumper they are. Only rust on the whole car lol

If they are that rusted then i dont think they care what the bolt is going through them lol
