Sasha & Malia Will Not Receive the Swine Flu Vaccine

Quote:
Cable News Promoting Swine Flu Vaccine
According to White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, Obama's Daughters will not receive the vaccine based on their profile. Apparently, according to him, only children with an impaired immune system are supposed to take the vaccine. But, I don't think that is not what the media has been reporting at all. In fact, when my grandchildren went to get the "mist", the only thing the doctor asked about was any allergies. They are perfectly healthy kids.

It gets stranger all the time, as this is supposed to be a level 6 pandemic, not a virus that only attacks susceptible children. According to WHO, "Almost half of the reported cases of oseltamivir resistant virus have occured in patients taking oseltamivir for prophylaxis. While the significance of this observation is not yet clear, prophylaxis should only be offered where there are strong reasons for doing so..in general, WHO does not recommend the use of antiviral drugs for prophylactic purposes. For people who have had exposure to an infected person and are at a higher risk of developing severe or complicated illness, an alternative option is close monitoring for symptoms, followed by prompt early antiviral treatment should symptoms develop.

Why do I keep hearing doctors on Cable News, including Fox, recommending that children receive a flu shot for prevention. Am I missing something here? In fact, I went to the official site of the Secretary of Human Health Services, and that was the first thing I saw: the importance of getting your flu shot. Every time I drive by Walgreens, there it is a sign "Get your flu shot."

Many of you may have heard of Jane Burgemeister, an Austrian journalist, who claims that the H1N1 vaccine is an attempt by the World Elite to reduce the population. she states on her website :In February 2009, Baxter’s Austrian subsidiary in Orth an der Donau manufactured and distributed 72 kilos of vaccine material, contaminated with a H5N1 (more lethal) virus, to 16 laboratories in four countries... this deadly contamination and distribution was almost certainly due to criminal intent." She has filed injunstion against the Obama Administration and WHO.

Even the Times of India reported that the H5N1 was mixed with H3N2, and the Times went on to say "Accidental release of a mixture of live H5N1 and H3N2 viruses could have resulted in dire consequences. While H5N1 doesn't easily infect people, H3N2 viruses do. If someone exposed to a mixture of the two had been simultaneously infected with both strains, he or she could have served as an incubator for a hybrid virus able to transmit easily to and among people."

Remember the Nuremberg Code for your defense, since there has been a lot of talk about "forced vaccinations": "The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential. This means that the person involved should have legal capacity to give consent; should be so situated as to be able to exercise free power of choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress, overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable him to make an understanding and enlightened decision."
The hypocrisy abounds.

No I don't think so. You can't urge the media to tell parents to vaccinate their kids with it and don't have yours done.

That shows lack of follow-through to me.

Just another reason I won't be getting a swine flu vaccine. "Sure, it's well tested. Of course it's necessary. Just not for my children."

Funny, the original author (a professional astrologer ) writes "Obama's Daughters will not receive the vaccine" and yet the source given (Fox News), reads, "Obama's school age daughters have not been vaccinated" and goes on with "The Centers for Disease Control recommend that children ages 6 months through 18 years of age receive a vaccination against the H1N1 flu virus. At this time only children with chronic medical conditions are receiving the vaccination because their immune system is not strong enough to fight off the strain."

Lay of the kooky bloggers, they make you look silly.

Enjoy your swine flu shot. This is not the only negative thing I've seen about it.

When larger amounts of the H1N1 vaccine arrive in Anderson, Oconee and Pickens counties, it will be heading to schools first.

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and the South Carolina Department of Education are working together to get the vaccine to children, said Rachelle Shirley, spokeswoman for the health department Region 1. Teams of nurses, with the health department, are ready to go to each of the region’s public schools when the new shipments come in, Shirley said.

“Children are one of the lead target groups to get the vaccine,” Shirley said. “We are planning on having mass clinics for the public, too.”

"The underlying issue is that we need to make sure that the people who need a vaccine find a place to get it," said Heather Howard, commissioner of the state's Department of Health and Senior Services.

One of those priority groups is students.

PHILADELPHIA - October 22, 2009 (WPVI) -- Students at Chestnut Hill Academy and neighboring Springside School are among the first to get the H1N1 vaccine.at school.
The schools teamed with the Philadelphia Health Department and each gave about 500 doses, offering both the injections and the intranasal vaccine.
"I got the nasal spray, it wasn't hard, just took a second," said seventh grader Alana Jing.

Look, all I was pointing out was that the article you quoted said that the Obama kids would not be vaccinated when the article it cited said they haven't received it yet. That's all.

I've even heard doctors say that they wouldn't get it or give it to their children after knowing what is in it.

LOL- you guys really are a trip. When the vaccine wasn't available they didn't get it. When it was they did, but if you guys want to make this a conspiracy then I guess you should go for it. Between this and the birther movement the whacky right is really starting to look pretty silly.

Funny to watch you change your tone as to why they didn't get the shot. As far as the right looking funny, I think it might be interesting for you to look at the numbers in the race for governers of NJ and VA, and rasmussens polls on the 10 election. As far as the birther movement, why doesn't the administration of transparency just show what people are filing FIA requests to see?
But as far as the wacky left, remember, "FIRE CAN'T MELT STEEL!" It gets no wackier than Rosie O'Donnell ranting on TV about how GWB was behind 9/11. Well, maybe Dennis Kuchinic...
But still, it's always fun to watch a lib take potshots at the person instead of discussing the issue at hand.

Oh my God, are you serious. All I have discussed since the beginning of this thread is the issue at hand. Or rather the lack of an issue.

You posted a blurb from a whako blog that said Obama's kids wouldn't receive the flu shot. I noted that the article that the whacko cited never said they wouldn't get it but rather they hadn't gotten it yet.

Go ahead and make fun of Rosie and Dennis and any nut you want that believes conspiracy theories, you're not going to offend me one bit. My world is the real world. I know we landed on the moon, I know Al Qaeda and Bin Laden took down the towers, I know Obama was born in Hawaii, I know that jets aren't dropping chemicals on us to poison us or control our minds and I also know that the Flu vaccine is just that, a flu vaccine.

yup a month ago only the highest risk people had the vaccine available to them. Just like all the posts you made say, it's now widely available.

One thing I considered in passing... H1N1 has been made to be this HUGE deal yet in reality its death toll is not really much greater than the death toll from other common diseases. Could the White House be using H1N1 to somehow try push through its version of healthcare reform?

These threads are great. Take a news article, not even a well written one, and run with it!

In many areas, supplies of the vaccine are being given to those most at risk of having complications with the flu. When supplies are more readily available, it will be open to anyone that wants it.

Soo....what is the big deal around here?
