Is the navigation system worth it?

Subject says it all. Is the 2K in the electronics package worth the cost?

I'm a little worried about the hard drive crashing and taking my radio out with it.

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Yep

I know what you are saying and I have the same thoughts. I purchased a 2010 GT500 with the Nav system. I really wanted the auto temp control and you can only get that with the Electronics package which includes the Nav system. If it breaks, I'll bet it will b expensive to repair. At least it is under warranty for 3 years.

Well worth it

Do not worry about it lasting. Todays Nav systems are reliable and the one in the GT is one of the best for the money. Easy to use and huge bright screen. I would not buy the car without unless I was getting the base car to just race or mod out etc...

NO!

I am very happy with my shaker 500 system with Sync because it comes with turn by turn navigation free for the first 3 years ! The maps would be nice to see but honestly why do you need them the system will tell you where to go !

Well I finalized my order today! Looking forward to my GT Grabber Blue Convertible. I may never buy another car off the lot again.

Oops! Forgot to thank everyone for the help. I went ahead and went for The navigation after test driving a flex with the same unit.
