SOMEONE BACKED INTO MY '07 GT/CS HELP!

Some dumb minivan driving woman backed into the driversdie front 1/4 panel on Monday , There is a small dent (very small) right above the GT/CS stripe but it then pushed out above at the very top of th the fender well. A body shop thinks Dent Wizard could fix both issues which then there would be no painting required, any thoughts? Another body shop wanted top replace the 1/4 panel paint the panel & blend the hood & door, so i am confused on which route to take. HELP!!

well TRY the painless dent guy, if it doesn't work you'll have to take more extreme measures. If you have a crease in the panel the dent removal won't get it out.

Definitely go with the paintless dent removal before going thr bodyshop route.. I have used this method before on a variety of dents and it works amazingly well..

If anything, it will look better than going the re-paint route... which, in a lot of cases, is usually quite obvious, depending on the color..

I had about 400 miles on my 2009 black GT when someone parallel parking in the space behind my car dented in the left rear quarter panel and left side of the bumper. The best body shop around my area suggested I go to the shop that does all their paintless dent removals. Cost $225 to get the dent taken out of the quarter panel, nothing they could do to help the bumper. The result of the repair on the quarter panel is very good, you only see it if you know it was there. My suggestion is to go to a shop with a reputation for good work.

I've used the same PDR guy for the past 12 years with outstanding results (he's even removed very shallow dents on my new cars either from the car carrier or just sitting on the lot to be sold)...a good PDR guy can make dents disappear like magic. My guy can also remove dents from the plastic facias and rear end bumper (provided the paint is not ruined)...
Oh, and I had a very small dent at the top of my A-pillar (at first we thought it might have been a paint flaw from the factory)...he removed that one by pulling (using a glue gun). He did try to get at it by removing my passenger weatherstripping and interior trim...but there was no way he could get a tool in behind it...so with some special glue he attached a very small plunger and popped it out and then he tapped it down and it's completely gone. I am a true believer in PDR! I wish they had PDR a long time ago.
For those who live in the Hampton Roads VA area the PDR specialist I use is:

You won't be disappointed.

pillatti1, BTW I'm originally from Middletown, CT.
