Creaking brakes

Just a "heads up." This past weekend I noticed that my brakes were "creaking" every time I would come to stop (and then again as I released the brakes)...I knew my pads couldn't be bad (have 19K original miles...mainly highway)...so I took a quick trip to the dealer and the tech said right away that my caliper slides, etc., needed to be re-lubed. Sure enough, after an hour (and $140,since my warranty expired back in August) it took care of the problem. No more "creaking noise." I asked him why this would happen, and his response was "you need to drive your Stang a lot more." Has anyone else experienced this?

Unfortunately this is common with a lot of cars, the slide lube attracts dust and dirt, in your case with all that highway mileage you don't use brakes a lot so it does happen.
