| | | Smoked or Clear
Hey guys, I'm looking for opions on headlights for the stang. My current ones look like 11yr old ford lights, which they are. Plus thanks to PA's brillant idea of tarring & chipping the roads my left marker light is cracked.
So what do ya think clear or smoked? The cars a silver 98 if my sig pic doesnt come up. |

yeah, i cant seem to decide
i like the smoked look & i think it will go well with the chin spoiler that will be going on, but the car already has clear taillights(on it when i got the car) and the clear headlights would go well with them.
im driving my wife crazy goin back and forth |

I really think that it depends on the color/body style of the 4.6.
I have a bone stock, 1998 white convertible GT in our complex. He parks up on the 5th floor and I can snap a pic of his car with the white out lights if you would like. (I will edit the license plates).
I like both. |

Depends on if anything else black will be coming along with it. If you are adding some black rims or a black stripe of some sort, I say smoked. But smoked on an otherwise non-dark colored car would not look good IMO. If the headlights are the only thing that are changing, clear for sure.

I know my car isnt silver but IMO:
The Cobra headlight with factory corners looks best and non ricey...
Everyone has smoked lights(granted they look good) so why not be a little different.
Here is my setup for what its worth. I think it would look sick on a Silver GT. |

Smoked on 99-04s.
Clear on 94-98s. I like especially like the headlights that came stock of the 98 Cobras. |

Back on topic, for your car I definately think smoked lights with the smoked/black theme carried on throughout the car would be sexx. |
