95 mustang help

I am in the process of taking my 95 mustang 302 motor and putting in a 351
but I want to switch it to a carberator setup instead of fuel injection. I want to get rid of my wires in the engine bay. Anyone done a setup like this or switched their fuel injected motor over to carberated. I need some advice or help of any kind would be great. Thanks

You need to get your gas tank sumped for the carb fuel pump and get a good distributor/ignition box. Take your time and make it clean....Good Luck

what corey said is correct.

i was going to do this and then maybe drop the whole thing into my fairlane. to that end, i bought a eddy rpm air-gap, distributor, 750 carb for it and a few other odds end ends for the conversion. then i decided to keep the fairlane stock, so all that stuff is just sitting in my basement. email me at curlbud-stangnet@yahoo.com if you are interested in taking them off my hands. i'd love to have them be of some use to someone.

Going to be Procharged as well so I will have to spend the money to get a blow through carb. I just was wondering what people have done with thier wires up front. Can they all be disconnected and removed or do they have to stay. i know i will have to rewire some things for my guages to work and the headlamps but can it be done without rewiring the whole car.

The headlights are on a different harness you should not have to do anything with them but as far as the wires going to the fan I just put my fan on a switch. You will have to keep you old computer if you want some of the stuff on your dash cluster to work like factory tach and temperature gauge. Both of those are easier to put on aftermarket gauges though. It is an easy swap you just gotta take your time.

Have you seen what guys have done to hide wires on their EFI setups? Perhaps looking into this you would be happier and only out your labor, instead of purchasing new parts.

Just an idea...

Yeah I have looked into it. I am currently in the process of hiding the wires on a 97 cobra. I just want a carb setup on the new motor i am building. I think i will be happier with it. but we will see.
