Went to the local track last Friday (10/30) to see how I would do with the 4.10's in the rear now. I can definitely say that the car gets out of the hole a TON faster now. My best 60' of the night was a 1.70. However, what I didn't expect is how fast I was going to end up shifting throughout the 1/4 mile. I definitely need more seat time to get the car where it needs to be but I was pretty happy with the results. I was going with hopes of at least 1 12 second pass but here is my best for the night:
I see you have 4.10's. You need to get some drag radials. I'm running Mickey Thompsons ET Street DR's. For the 1.70 60' I just took it up to 4500rpms and slipped the clutch. It didn't spin at all. Next time I go I'm going to try to take it to 5,000 rpms for the launch.
Wow, it seems like youre about to make it in the 12's N/A. I'm interested in seeing if the qoute, "The best mod is the driver Mod," holds true. I think it will!
wow, my best 60 is a 1.88, i'm too afraid of my stock axles to do a real launch
Thanks. When I had the gears put in I had the rear rebuilt. The only things left that have over 73,000 miles on them are the axles and diff. Just waiting for those to break I guess.

Thanks man. I still don't have all the bolt-ons yet. I'm still missing Longtube headers and UDP's.
