High Beams won't stay on

When I pull the stalk halfway back, the high beams and the blue light both come on. When I pull the stalk all the way back, they both shut off and when I release it, they flash back on as they pass through the halfway point, but then shut back off. I can flash my high beams, but not keep them on. Is there a simple fix? I'd rather avoid leaving it at a shop for warranty work.

Push the stalk forward and post back with your results.

For the 05+ cars, you pull it back halfway to flash and all the way to keep them on. It's spring loaded so it always rests in the same spot. You cannot push it forward.

Driving lights on? cannot remember, been a while since I have drove mine, at night especially.

Maybe the brights turn off the driving lights.... I donn't know.

Sounds like the switch in the lever is not engaging the third portion of the switch.

On the way home it was back. This car does have a mind of its own though.
