Ok i started painting the lower intake...I used an ultra sonic tank that we have at work cleaned it for 3 hrs...painted and then baked it in the oven for 20 mins...The upper i will do tomorrow..so what do you think so far?....

Thanks Guys....I used dupli color cast color its the 500 degree paint....ceramic coating its really nice cant wait to do the top intake now...Im going to do the valve covers the same too...what do you think? |

I used cast coat aluminum when I painted my upper
thought it came out pretty well, and then I sold it for double what I bought it for  |

Looks great bro!! u prepped it great looks real clean, my favorites are duplicolor paints metal spec and metal cast anadized paints too GREAT STUFF holds up great too
Duplicolor Metal spec paint reminds me of old school heavy flake sparkle paint love the stuff!!

Thanks...Guys..Yeah the ultra sonic tank at work cleans awesome...I re-build starter generators for airplanes and helicopters so they get full of carbon and grease so we have some really good cleaners...So i ran the lower and upper thru there...Im painting the upper tomorrow stay tuned for pictures of that...  ...After that im doing the valve covers...i might two-tone those i have some ideas floating around for the upper too....lol... |

It's a gt40, but didn't have the plate, so I slapped one on there.
I bought bbk tb/spacer, upper and lower intake, p heads for $350
then sold the heads and intake for $300
